A nice lie-in this morning, as I had planned to visit my mother for most of the day – and do a few jobs around her house. She lives on her own now, but is fiercely independent , but there are a few things she has not got the strength to tackle anymore. I left home at 9am after doing a few emails and spent an invigorating few hours in her garden chopping wood and repairing fences. The afternoon was spent inside her house doing some wiring – and as I had my laptop with me, I also answered a few emails that came in as well. Bless her – she does not have any broadband, so I used my Vodafone ‘dongle’ instead.

My mother only lives 25 miles away, so after a 30 minute journey, I was back home by 4:45pm, ready to trade my “Evening” system. My first trade was just after 5:10pm which was stopped out (-14 pips) but the 2nd one (at 5:20) went on to get me +34 pips, so the evening finished right on my target of +20 pips.
